Covid-19 Updates and Important Information

UPDATE as of June 15, 2021

California’s Department of Public Health has updated statewide masking guidance to match the CDC’s guidance, lifting California’s mask requirements for vaccinated individuals starting on June 15. Vaccinated people are able to come together without masks in most circumstances.

People who are unvaccinated must continue to wear a mask indoors in public settings to protect themselves and others. Also, there are some settings where masking is still required for everyone, such as:

  • Public transit

  • Hospitals

  • Long-term care facilities

  • Homeless shelters

  • Indoors in K-12 schools, childcare, and other youth settings

Renu Hope Foundation will continue to follow all State requirements regarding re-opening as California continues to re-open.

For more information, please go to the Governor's COVID website.

Update as of December 6, 2020:

As you may have heard, Southern California has been placed on a Stay At Home Order issued by Governor Newsom.

Renu Hope Foundation would like to provide some clarity regarding the status of our Child Care Centers currently in operation.

Under the Stay At Home Order, all public schools with approved waivers (hybrid and face to face), daycare and Pre-K will continue to remain open.  Therefore, Renu Hope Foundation will continue to provide services at the centers that are currently in operation.

Please keep in mind that we must all continue to do our part in order to keep everyone safe. Individuals from different households may not gather together. In addition, we MUST all wear masks at all times. We can get through this together.

If you need additional information, we encourage you to read more about it on the Governor's COVID website.

Renu Hope Foundation hopes that all families are safe during these uncertain times. Renu Hope Foundation will be opening two childcare centers on October 5, 2020.

Safety precautions will continue to be in place, and therefore, there will be reduced hours of operation at these centers and staggered schedules for children and staff.

The locations/times for the two additional childcare centers opening on October 5th are as follows:

  • 235 N. Second Street in Banning (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

  • 21091 Rider Street in Mead Valley (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

  • 771 W. Williams Street in Banning

  • 44071 Clinton Street in Indio

  • 99085 Cordova Drive in North Shore

It is our utmost priority to continue to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our children, families and staff at this time. At this time, the other centers will remain closed for childcare, however, distance learning will continue to be provided to the currently enrolled children.
